Good evening Rapid City Garden Club!
It's that time of year! We are looking for volunteers to help gather greens for the wreaths and other decorations, and for volunteers to help with the making and decorating of the wreaths. We will also need volunteers for the sale days.
Attached to this post are 2 volunteer sign ups. The Greens Gathering 2025 spreadsheet has the upcoming dates for group greens gatherings and information on where to meet, times, supplies, etc. You can sign up for a group greens gathering on that spreadsheet underneath the date(s) you would like to join.
The second spreadsheet titled Greens Making & Sale 2025 is for folks to sign up to help make the wreaths and decorations and for working the sale days. Each month is separated into separate tabs. You can put your name underneath the date(s) you would like to volunteer. If you are unsure what days you might be available, no worries! You can also drop in on the greens making dates as you are able.
I will be sending out emails and making blog posts to remind everyone about volunteer dates periodically, so make sure to keep an eye out! Our first group greens gathering date is coming up this Saturday, October 11th!
