Education Garden Rapid City Garden Club is a 60th Anniversary project in 2007 dedicated in 2011 is on the bike path and behind the Canyon Lake Activities Center. The purpose is to showcase plants in a regional botanical garden for the uniqueness of four ecosystems being the Rocky Mountains, Great Plains, Northern Boreal Forests and Eastern Deciduous Forests. There are 11 themed gardens with a map and plant labels. Each season brings beauty of color and education about plants and trees for the area.
